The merry Christmas CD was a huge success for FDI. With its brilliant idea of being an CD incorporated with a special message section that could be used as a highly appropriate Christmas gift. Ditemi Voi
Released in 1999.
This project was probably the most fun for the group as it had a variety of songs from love, life and controversy. Its distinctive rose cover design left much to wonder about the content of the music. Paul Buhne was the main singer on the album with back up assistance from Shirley Thomas. This CD shows the true talent of Paul Buhne and Tony Buono. Some of the artists featured on the CD are Peter Northcote, Brett Williams, Derek Barg and Shane O’Farrell with his haunting guitar on “Vuoi Diventare Qualcuno”. |

Tornare alle Radici
Released 2005.
This project by the group features both Paul and Lorenzo Buhne on vocals. Lorenzo is an ex-member of the famous American band "The Dickies". This particular project features the musical influence of Shane O'Farrell, who together with FDI have worked to make this album the most unique. The songs on this album are some what fuller and gutsier than ever. Each track is diverse from the other covering concepts of life, love, beliefs, memories, longing and strength. A big thank you to Lorenzo Buhne and Shane O'Farrell for their creative and musical input with this project. |

Bosco Dell'Anima
Completed 2009 - yet to be released
Bosco Dell'Anima (Woods of the soul) is an ingenious project which brings musical life to poetry. FDI have amazingly transformed the poems of the renown Italian poet Cristiana Maria Sebastiani into modern music. The songs depict Cristiana's love for her home town of Perugia and the region of Umbria, Italy. Many musicians have worked on the project including Tatyana Dunlop (piano & back up vocals), Shane O'Farrell (guitars, bass & back up vocals), Lee Hutchings (saxophone & flute), Ivan Yako & Derek Barg (drums & percussion), and many others. |
